Day Nursery
NURSERY INFORMATION
We are open:
8am - 6pm Monday to Friday
Closed Bank Holidays and the Holiday between Christmas and New Year.
Fees are not charged if we are closed.
Session times and rates:
Full day - 8am - 6.00pm (£65.00 including meals)
Morning session - 8am - 1pm (£40.00 including meals)
Afternoon session - 1.15pm - 5.45pm (£37.00 including meals)
School day session for over 3's - 9am - 3pm (£50.00 including meals)
Hourly rate for any agreed extra hours - £9.00
Special rates to use additional funding hours that do not cover a full session:
Full day - £55.00 including meals
Morning session - £22.00 including meals
Afternoon session - £16.50
School day - £22.00 including meals
Early school day (8am - 3pm) - £27.00
Breakfast is a choice of cereals, toast, yoghurt and fruits which is available over the course of the week.
A hot meal is included in all paid morning/full day sessions and for those partially funded during the same times.
If your child will be with us at tea time (4pm) please provide something for them to eat following healthy food standards. Some children prefer to bring a snack if they are having tea at home, or you can bring a pack-up.
Meal charges for funded sessions - Optional:
Meals (Breakfast, snack and hot lunch) - £5.50 per day
Holding Deposit
When booking a place at nursery we ask for a small holding deposit. For fee paying parents we ask for £100.00, which is then deducted from your first bill.
For funded only places, we ask for £50.00. This will be refunded after your first month.
Any places withdrawn less than 2 months before your child's start date will not be refunded.
Funding Information
Babies and Under 3's
We only offer funding as a stretched offer over 51 weeks of the year for our children under 3. Your child will get 22.6 hours of funding a week. We offer the following sessions
8.00am - 6.00pm = 10 hours of funding
8.00am - 1.00pm = 5 hours of funding
1.15pm - 6.00pm = 4.75 hours of funding
If you have funded hours remaining and you want to use them, these can be used towards the special rate sessions. For example 2.6 hours will reduce your full day session price from £65.00 to £55.00.
Children over 3 and 2 year olds in receipt of FAS
In addition to the sessions above your child will be eligible to take term time only funding and the added option of 'School Day' hours. Term time only funding gives you 15/30 hours of funding per week across 38 weeks over the year. Stretched funding will give you either 12/24 over 47.5 weeks, or 22.6 hours as stated above.
9.00am - 3.00pm = 6 hours of funding
8.00am - 3.00pm = 7 hours of funding
All 3 and 4-year-olds are eligible for nursery education funding, and we also offer funded sessions for eligible children over 9 months old.
